About Me

Oregon Kool-aid, Harry Edgar Palacio, is a critically acclaimed underground Indie/Alternative Rock musician, numerous award-winning author & prize-winning fine artist. He hit #1 in Luxembourg music charts with his hit single "Coral Relief", performed with Grammy winners & Grammy nominated artists including Ari Up, lead singer of The Slits 'Godmothers of Punk' former members of The Raincoats, championed by Kurt Cobain. He was offered a music contract with Atlantic & Interscope Records, featured on over a 100 music magazines including MTV, ABC, CBS, NBC, Folk N' Rock, & elsewhere.

Harry performed at Paramount Theater, NYC, Dominican Republic, Studio Two, Pace University, September Fest, 925 South & many other venues. Harry is 'Oregon Kool-aid,' & 'Harry Edgar Palacio,' his 10 studio albums: Ishtar & Cernunnos, Shani's Ghost, Behead the Satyr... Harry was a finalist for Fjords Review Book Competition, semi-finalist for Quartz Literary Prize, Willow Run Book Award. His books Ambrosia, Sutras of Tiny Jazz, Lazarus at His Desk, The Foyer, Narcissus; The Shepard Boy & Dream-walking Savage have been published worldwide. Harry's prose-poetry has been published in over 75 magazines & anthologies including Litbreak, Tule Review, Washington Square Review, & elsewhere.

His fine art was featured on the cover of Blotter Rag Magazine & Bellevue Review with artwork published in over 10 magazines including The Bitchin' Kitsch, Suburban Witchcraft, The Courtship of Winds, & Inside Voice, who has been accepted to show fine art at galleries in NYC, UK, Dominican Republic & Italy; including School of Visual Arts, Graffik Gallery, Open Studios Peekskill, Paul Robeson Gallery, H-Art Gallery.

He was a music journalist for Popfadblog and has read 5,070 books in his lifetime making him top #26 reader in the USA & top #49 reader globally. Harry was a college radio DJ at WARY 88.1. He is a BIPOC, Dominican & Colombian, living with schizoaffective disorder.
